Our Church History

On July 1, 1989, God gave Apostle Edward Johnson, Sr, and Evangelist Patricia Johnson a vision that led them to begin a ministry that was located at 509 Edward Avenue in Darlington, SC. During this time, the church only consisted of his wife and children. They began preaching messages of deliverance so that all men everywhere might repent and be saved. Even with no members, they continued to press toward the higher calling as God enabled and empowered them. Although there was much suffering, despair, and trials of their faith, the ministry continued with relocation to the Hartsville Hwy. The infallible messages of God’s anointing pressed upon Apostle and Evangelist heart to endure the test of faith and fight on.

As God began to reveal to Apostle and Evangelist Johnson, the church began to grow as God added daily such as to be saved. The church then moved to 119 Chestnut St in Darlington, and God continued to anoint them and continued to add to the body of Christ. As many as came to receive Christ, to them he gave power to become sons and daughters of God.
The Lord then led Apostle and Evangelist Johnson to the Mechanicsville area on Myrtle Wood Drive. There we all gathered and prayed, and the Lord blessed the church with the land to lay the cornerstone of the new church.
As the church multiplied many people came by the preaching of the gospel led by our Apostle and Evangelist. With the increase, there came an erected edifice on 2105 Jones Road in Darlington, SC. This is the current house of worship where lives are being changed and souls being delivered.
There are no limitations on God; therefore, there are no limitations on the visions that God continues to give our leaders. As we walk into our season of continuous miracles and blessings, every vision shall come to pass. We are expecting greater in the future.
Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, and he left that same commandment to the church. Our main and most important purpose is to share with the people the word of God, with the intent to give them a deeper revelation of God’s word. Hoping, one may receive the power of the Holy Ghost along with the attributes and blessings that come with having a life in Christ.
